Over the weekend, we visited the house.. our ceiling decor for the mini living room looks superb.. at first, we felt abit disappointed  with the doors.. rupanya alum siap painting.. heheheh.. nanti lah lgi upload some new photo.. the toilets' doors sudah berpasang.. the rest are coming soon lah..

Detox but smells like bbq!

Last night my sis in law introduced us to this detox patch.. i know it was famous a while-back ago.. but now it's back in the market.. well not really back.. this detox patch has been there in the market globally.. it is just not in MY market.. *bukan di pasar ku ~ lost in translation*

Hubby wanted to try them.. so i pun join sekaki lah.. or dua kaki to be exact.. it was simple process.. you drink water, then stick the detox patch arah your tapak kaki and wait until tomorrow morning.. last night they said the smell of these detox patches similar to those arang angus.. bau salaian kata dorang.. hehehe (bbq kan tu? slurrps).. unfortunately, i only took their words for it because my sense of smell was still lost in da woods since my fluey & cougher berleluasa atu... 

These how the patches looked like in the morning.. looked really bad! smell? even worse.. i guess the patches were indeed working at some degree because 1)  my selesma kurang berabis.. nada g kan di paus2 2) i regain my sense of smell, i continuously smell this "bau salaian" almost whole day.. conscious berabis ku bau nya ah... heheheh urrghhh!!

Anyway.. i won't tell these patches belong to whom.. mine or hubby... hahahha.. i know.. mbari ijap itam nya.. are we really that full of toxic? According to brochure, these patches detox the stomach area when placed arah tapak kaki.. if these represent our stomach.. no wonder why our medications work slow on us.. psl stomach content atu dirty and absorption power nya pun kurang tah jua tu.. we'll see lah... hubby said he wanted to buy more.. as he wants to check kalau2 kehitaman nya berkurangan after prolonged use.. nya urg berusaha bah.. so iatah usaha nya *since usaha kan diet jrg work on us* hehehe...

weekend is here soon.. so i hope i can distributed my BFF's wedding invites today.. and hope we can visit the house today.. we need to get the contractor pushing to finish everything.. soon it will be august and that's that 1 year is up! heheheh..

Anugeraha Illahi.. I pray for you nini..

Yesterday night, we went to sg hancing to visit my nini sebalah my dad... he's sick and wishes to be surrounded by family... kinda sad and kinda touch my heart meliat my nini chatu.. he used to be strong and yes, gagah and yet now he's just chatu.. weak, sad and believe me, he looked lonely..  kan belaying mata meliat.. if i was not surrounded by my siblings, pacah dah kali ampangan air mataku...

if i were to believe my dad's story dulu.. my nini was not really a great dad to my dad.. i remembered when i was still a kid, when we were still in tutong camp, when my dad was still NOT talking to my nini.. my dad told me all the bad stories in details on how my nini treated my dad.. now that i'm older and a little bit wiser, i can understand where my nini came from.. and where my dad came from.. sigh.. i never learnt psycology or anything.. but if anything,  i would perceived my dad to be emotionally abused by my nini.. but anak mana yg inda.. i think in our lives, we felt that we were abused by our parents at times because we couldn't see their points.. to family & friends who know my dad.. would agreed with me if i said.. my dad atu waris my nini jua.. sikap nya, ego nya, pemarah nya.. dulu masa damit, i knew my dad was a troubled man.. but now he's older.. ada cucu dah.. he's mellower.. he is trying to be with his grandkids.. he is trying to be with us again.. re-bonding the relationship.. (ukan rebonding rambut eh).. was it last year that my dad ajak kami memancing on 1st day of ramadhan.. heheheh kinda sweet ya ajak kami... i'm grateful for that moment.. i do hope more to come.. wink wink.. don't get me wrong.. my dad is not that bad..he just sometimes has difficulty to reconnect with human being called FAMILY.. hehehehhe...

Anyway, i hope all the best for everyone.. and i hope my dad and my nini are both in forgiving state.. forgiving each other.. my dad lawat2 plg jua my nini sudah.. that shows wlupun injuries dlm hati durg dua ani dalam, tpi air yg dicincang inda akan putus.. to my readers (wlupun sejamput saja my readers ani).. doa2kan kesihatan my nini.. kalau pun tiba masa nya ya "cuti" (that what he told us he dreamt of my ayimulah nini bini, minta my nini laki utk bercuti tah), biar tah nini "jln cuti" dgn aman nya tanpa ada kesakitan.. amin amin... ajal maut di tangan tuhan, and I do pray this year nini sampat sambut hari raya lagi.. amin amin..

I think my liur this week di taja oleh dimsum.. hehehe

3 days in a row dah kami dinner having dimsum.. i know who's to blame if my b.p shoots up high.. si dimsum lah.. shapa lagi...

i finished my slides for PU presentation next week.. My proj lead said it looks good.. hopefully next week nebesnya inda tahap gavanz saja.. I don't really know myself.. I can talk "cock" most of the time, but it comes to presenting some work infront of "important" people, i get kanchiong.. Anyway.. Rabbi yaseer wa la tu'aseer.. semoga berjln lancar esuk..

This will be what my lunch gonna be next week if God's will.. heheheh I know plg mcm balik2 ku ceta.. i told this story in facebook already (awu majal MuruKu ku ni).. that i suggested Neptune seafood restaurant in Jerudong for the lunch location after PU meeting.. Heheheh.. Sneaky eeeh... Well, i'm the only person who knows "bandar" so well compared to my colleagues.. Hence I was tasked to find the lunch location.. My proj leader said "you got 5 days to find us a place for lunch next week".. Easy beezey may be IT IS maybeline.. they should have gave me this task long time ago.. with the same salary, i would love to be my team FOOD organizer! hahah biar durg bolat!

1 more thing.. has anyone noticed that org KB/Seria refers Brunei Muara district as "Bandar"? hehehe well not much impact though eversince our BSB area was increased 10 times bigger compared to what it was before..BSB includes Kiulap, Gadong, Bunut, Kiarong, Batu bersurat etc etc.. Batu sempadan BSB ja besar, not the bandar itself.. I still consider the Old BSB as the correct capital of Brunei.. It stores much more history compared to kiulap (chiulap :-))) or gadong.. Am I right?

Ahhhh nywaaay.. Walkap is still ongoing.. I haven't got a chance to watch anything other than walkap.. krg ku tapok remote aaah.. (taim England kan belawan tah lgi.. ada yg munjung mulut kang) hehe

Long day at work..

Had to go to work early as today was MD fun run (or walk if you belong to lazy-bum).. This year i didn't join the MD fun-wateva because 

1) my so-called walk-fartner barat2an kan join

2) my "fluey" & "coughey" still berleluasa.. i know i would have difficulty of breathing with 1 gua trblock and itchy throat..

3) I AM one of those lazy bum, even worse heaviest, lazy bum as i didn't even participate at all.. hahahha

Di office, i wanted to finish off my so-called technical work for my presentation but somehow it got side-track and i didn't solve anything.. sigh.. On top of that Mr Roti Partha Mu somehow was out there to make me look bad.. I know i'm slow.. that's the price the company pay for trusting me so much.. hahaha.. Entah ah.. tdi discussed jua with Miss FR.. She said "kalau kaum bisdorang ani, jadi makanan ku sudah".. hahaha.. trbygku plg dlm kapla si MuruKu & Roti ParthaMu "mun siliny ani, jadi makanan ku udah" hahahah I am makanan kaum bisdorang ani kali bah sal kaum ani selalu pick on me.. mcm alah ku ama durg ani.. biar chia laaah..

anyway.. happy tot today: Kaching-day.. alhamdulillah.. selajur tah meng-cash in liur kan mkn dimsum lagi.. rezeki illahi kitani bersyukor lah...

this month, bank errand increases due to no more kiditkat.. That's life.. what can we say jua.. mesti jua di bayar.. previously we only have to pay to kiditkat as the "other" bills were deducted through kiditkat.. but now astro-bills, telbru, e-speed & keta have to be paid manually ke counter.. kepisan tah hubby-ness ni this friday.. eh this friday, he also wants to fix the air-conditioner.. remembered the MacGuyver yg Give-Up replaced by MacMaid yg nda Give-up story? hehehe The MacMaid solution was just temporary apparrently.. Not sure why, after we came back from China trip, our Air-Con started to cause problem.. short-circuiting the whole power.. di ON air-con, dlm 5 mins the whole power trip.. Jadinya, this friday we will bring my Mom's air-con handyman to kb.. (meaning balik bndr on thursday, 2nd meaning dpt singgah tg nangka mbali nasi penyet.. hahaha melampau jua eh).. to fix the split aircon, transfer the aircon from empty room to the dining room, and service the other 2 aircons.. 

awu kamu, flat kami ani basar (kan semua tah di bagi aircons), tpi yg tinggal hmmmmm... berdua2+1 jua saja.. mbaah that's that for today.. i'm sweating like a pig udah nie di bilik tamu ani.. random tot *pig sweating chana kan??* hahahah.. trpikir tah ku kan menggoogle and i found this at this link Pigs Don't Sweat

School Holiday is OVER!

HAHAHA... baru kamu tau para2 murid & guru.. cuti skulah dah abis dah.. *jeles mode ON*

That is the most talkabout status update in facebook today..  *kalah status psl walkap*.. not to forget the LPs = PMs, SBA, SPN, marking, student database etc etc.. yg hi-flyer siap dah on 1st week of holiday.. yg lo-flyer and simply bo-chap, bru kemarin & today bekakas.. hehehhe but who are we kidding here... people always said that Family comes first than Work.. so i guess those yg trkakas2 siapkan today/kemarin should be congratulated for prioritizing family time vs. work.. Am i Right? 

As i mentioned yesterday, we did bring the kids for swimming.. siok jua lah, as the weather started to get cloudy around 9:20++... just nice and windy.. and the boys & the girls are indeed getting better.. particularly the boys.. i guess boys have better control of their fear.. Nephew Sabri can float "vertically" now.. a skill i still have to master.. still need to push the girls though.. Hubby's li'l sister still need to overcome the fear.. she can definitely swim, only when she knows & is confident the pool floor is reachable if she stands up.. hehehe.. Nephew Super-Zaim is now brave enough to swim in adult's pool without float and brani trajun into the swimming pool meaning he is no longer afraid of "air masuk idung" kinda stuff hehehehe.. Unexpectedly, after swimming.. we went bowling as well.. kinda introducing the kids to the game of bowling.. they enjoyed the game, sampai Hubby's nephew Sabri asked us "uda, berapa kan harga nya main bowling ani?" duiii maaa kesian.. i think he wants to play again lah sometimes in the future.. It can be a good motivation for him jua.. like "study well, get good result and the Uda's will belanja main bowling lagi" heheh..

After the bowling, we decided to watch Toys Story 3... but we have to wait 1hr++ before our show.. mcm lama bah.. kan jln2 dulu, takut later payah cari parking.. so we decided to just lepak with the kids di jolibee.. *penaja our food & drinks on that day* you know how kids kill time? playing this ABC game using category lah.. e.g. lah ah... you place your five fingers on the table (for all participants lah).. then the "game-master" will decided on the catergory.. car's name kah, country's name kah, animals kah.. then kira lah.. A.B.C. etc etc sampai the game master stop at a letter.. then shout the the car name or country name yg started with that letter.. sapa capat, will fold 1 finger.. sapa yg fold all 5 fingers wins! simple kan??.. cali plg jua since kami main in public.. mcm kami berteriak2 lah, menyabut nama2 atu heheh.. trcangang jua org sekeliling.. who cares.. it is educational, creative, fast thinking & competitive.. which are good for the kids brain development.. i felt like kanak2 balik.. dulu lepak ngan org2 COOL... now lepak ngan org2 yg kecik molek.. lebih cool lah tu.. heheh..

About the movie.. oh my.. siuk sekali.. Love the movie.. cali ada jua, sedih ada jua.. somehow it touches you deeply remembering what if our fave toys masa damit ada feeling mcm toys dlm this movie.. hehehehe..tpi bila nya idup atu, mbari takut jua tu ah.. Oh remembering something from the past: My sister used to say to me "masa malam patung pandai idup, minta nyawa..." ijap jua tu, masa damit percaya kali ku tu ah.. pikir2, nada yg mbagi nyawa dlm dunia ani kecuali Allah Ta'ala jua saja.. *right*

Back to the day: The day ended with good memories for the kids (hopefully) and hopefully, the kids can compose their english or malay composition about the day.. *perasan*.. but on the downside, my flu did get worse and i was down with fever that night.. Luckily, hubby patiently jaga the wife with urut2, ubat2, slimut panas and stayed up until wifey feeling better... heheheh.. I'm still "fluey" though.. but manageable.. and definitely, can go to work tomorrow..

Not a good day to catch flu.. I took friday off because i want to have extended weekend.. Since hubby cuti jua, so at least we have 3 days di bandar.. Unfortunately.. I catched flu & "runny" nose on friday.. Sneezing here & there. then sudah mlmnya, ngampai.. Oh my.. Today we promised hubby's nephews & nieces to bring them to swimming pool.. actually they asked us since last week dah.. "uda, bila uda bawa kami swimming?? inda tau jua diexpect.. my turn to catch flu.. 

Anyway, i will fight it off!! we will bring the kids to swimming pool later.. mudahan tah nda ujan eh.. the weather looked great yesterday.. inda panas & windy.. if ujan, confirm tah karang ptg g kami bawa durg.. i'm sure everybody will agree with me.. "never promise your kids *in our case, nephews & nieces* because they will tagih forever.."  kanak2 should be allowed to collect hutang as they are adorable, hard to resist and persistent! heheheh *some random tot*

Okay.. before morning slips by un"conciously", i better start packing the swimming gear soon.. the boys & girls should be awake by now.. Hubby is watching "avatar - the airbender" on DVD.. assssiiiiiikk ya tu.. sometimes tangan & suara nya ikut tu while watching cartoon.. that's my hubby!!

The brick slabs have been installed and "varnished" to make them look "alive".. yes that's what our project supervisor said " cantik kan bila sudah di ngecat gitu.. nampak HIDUP" heheheh.. awu deh.. asal sja keHIDUPan brick slab atu tahan lama.. hehehhe..

Food Galore Weekend Part II

Salam all...

What's new in life?? New? Ini cerita manyak out-dated wooo.. Because it happened last weekend.. Phuh.. We had our family picnic @ Serasa beach.. As usual, it started off as "small" family gathering between siblings as my sister from KB turun bandar with kids.. My eldest sister remembered how Qoid & Deden enjoyed the beach.. so planning lah kami to have small bbq after we came back from China trip..

Bad move though,  we involved our mom.. do you know that if you don't want your planning to be outblown, overridden and out of order, nda payah involve your mother.. you just need to tell her on that day itself.. "Ma, mama free? ju tah picnic tani.. nda payah sediakan papa.. semua dah ready tau jln ja".. Unfortunately, our beloved mom took charged and made her own list.. Owh, turned out she wanted the picnic for HER siblings as well (and her mother, my grandmother).. so all aunties & uncles got invited and the menu + quantity went ballistic, out of proportion.. Honestly, after 31 years being brought up by my mother, i think we should have known this fact very well.. and yet, we still involved our mother and usually "small" makan jadi BIG makan..

The picnic was great (although hot).. My nephews semua mandi peloh.. the youngest Aiman sampai kusut kehangatan.. The bbq area was flooded because of high tide starting around 10 am.. we had to rmove our bbq area to different place as the water approached and surrounded the lamb & chicken wings... heheheh..

The lovely day ended with a belais fish was caught by my sister, nephew aiman finally fell asleep, nephew qoid & deden enjoyed the beach and hubby & eldest sister enjoyed fishing.. Mummy went home satisfied with the outcome and with the LEFTOVERs.. i told you, when she organized, she organized BIG.. and selalu with leftovers.. hehehehe... 

How about myself? I was hot, sweaty, smelly and ke kabun kayangan.. hehehe.. luckily it rained later that afternoon.. soo sejuk tah jua dikit.. 

That's that on the weekend food galore! More on real life next time.. Krg urg pikir kan makan saja jua manusia nya ani.. what to do.. Anugeraha.. chewaaah..

Life is definitely great when you are surrounded by your beloved family..

Post China Trip

Assalamualaikum All...

Phuh! bru tah dapat buat blog.. apparently in china facebook & blogging are not allowed.. ready ready dah ni bawa laptop konon kan record the experience there..but itu cuma tinggal harapan & angan2..

to summarize our trip to china in 1 word, i would say Hazy!

• if i were to summarize the trip in 2 words, i would say Hazy & Hectic
• if i were to summarize the trip in 3 words, i would say Hazy, Hectic & Suffocated
• if i were to summarize the trip in 4 words, i would say Hazy, Hectic, Suffocated & Stucked

Bah adang eh.. bek tah summarize in 1-2 paragraphes.. kan sanang kan.. 

The trip was overall great & good experience.. but what i mentioned above still stand true.. It was really hazy.. i think balik2 dah ku ceta arh my colleague & frens how hazy the weather was in China.. if you park your car in the morning, you'll see the same car mcm inda becuci bah for 1-2 weeks.. that showed how terrible was the haze.. Imagine all those dirts ikut termasuk in your breathing system.. mun PC, kuraptet (corrupted) tia sudah.. i was like sooo overly-conscious there.. with the air, the walkway (sal ada anching2) and all the living things surrounding my conference area.. The conference itself was hectic.. It was unimaginable how hectic the living things in china pushing people around, grabbing some free stuffs, enthusiatically looking for food.. sigh.. I was not prepared for the hecticness.. I thought the conference was simple.. but eventually i needed to organize myself to go to which technical sessions i'm interested in.. Because of this the haziness and hecticness (ada kah word hecticness ani??), i felt suffocated sometimes.. bila naik taxi, the traffic masya Allah.. scary beb! the taxi driver lagi scary.. they drove mcm there's no tomorrow.. inda jua apa lambat sikit.. apparently they don't practise "biar lambat asal selamat" *chana kan prektise that motto, ckp english pun payah, apa g ckp melayu*.. dah tah payah benapas with all the haze, then kacut parut g naik taxinya di sana.. duii maaaaa... alum g taim lapar tu.. bila lapar, suffocated parutku wahahahahah...

Oh yah to find halal food was not easy as well... kecian my hubby waktu tgh ari either mkn roti paun yg dibata dri brunei or maggi in cup.. however, on the 3rd day & 4th day we did venture ourselves to go out and had a great dinner.. especially for hubby.. tpi nya mcm setiap minit kept on berdoa supaya our journey lancar dan selamat.. alhamdulillah, sampai jua ke destinasi ulang alik.. hhehehe..

About my presentation, it went well.. the question i got was unexpected.. but i managed to "ngular" sikit2.. this was my 1st time going oversea to present something without being accompanied by my seniors.. mcm kemanjahan bah bila Q&A session atu, i would depend on my seniors to answer the question for me... but at this conference.. I was alone.. and i managed to go through my session.. TGFE! Thank God For Everything.. Alhamdulillah..

That's that.. Today our air-conditioner down! so the living room is like a medium-to-hot-sauna.. mandi pun masih berpeloh.. hehehe.. Hubby asyik with WC.. oh btw do you realised that guys can make several exclaiming remarks sound with the word "OOOhhhhhh", "Nooooo & "Gooall"... hehehhe mcm dari tadi ku dangar.. High pitch "ooohhhhh", then low pitch "oooohhhh", full of anticipation "oooohhh" & happy "ooohh", & frustated "oohhhhh" heheheheh.. dengarkan lah hubby2 anda cana durg buat bunyi taim liat bola.. gerenti cali ekekekekke...

Food Galore Weekend part I

Assalamualaikum all..

The weekend was really surrounded by food.. wow.. i thought we can continue to lose weight.. but hey.. who can we blame? the fact that we love food.. and we got the body size to prove that fact!! hehehehe.. 

it started off when my sister wanted to have small family dinner on saturday night.. inviting our uda utk mkn the so-called fames homemade tuna delight.. then somehow, the list of food grew longer.. and suddenly i wanted to make shepard pie.. the recipe looks simple enough from http://www.sweetlbct.blogspot.com/ .. as we did our shopping to get all the ingredients for dinner, then somehow mushroom soup trlompat masuk dlm list jua.. hehehhe.. great uh??

These are the homemade piza.. just with bread and pizza toppings.. we had tuna delite, pepperoni & beef/chicken sausages topping.. rasanya marvelous berabis hehehe..

 This is my 1st try of making shepard pie.. Everybody said making shepard pie is easy.. (compare to lasagna).. and I agreed!! tpi alum ku puas ati.. I want to make this better.. so practise makes purrrrfect..
